Nikki & Justin share their experience.

“My husband and I cannot speak more highly of Ryan, and Feather and Finch Photography.

From the very beginning, he provided great guidance and advice, not only in regard to photography but for various aspects of the wedding.

The photos of the day are incredible and have such depth and texture, and Ryan was so easy to work with making everything feel so natural while capturing the most perfect moments, not only of us as the couple but the entire celebration.

By the end, it honestly just felt like a mate was taking our photos.”

Nikki and Justin Wedding Dunes Palm Beach, Sydney

If you’ve always wanted a beach-style wedding, without too much fuss or sand in your hair, you’ll love Nikki and Justin’s relaxed, summery wedding, oozing with intimacy and connection.

Held at Dunes Palm Beach, Sydney, with 80 family and friends, the combination of Nikki’s stunning cotton lace dress, sand-coloured suits for the lads, and earthy colours for the bridesmaids made this a free-flowing, natural wedding. Soak up the love and enjoy the ocean vibe.

The beach setting was a natural choice for Nikki and Justin. “Every morning we’re free, we love to get up early and go for a long walk along the beach,” says Nikki. “Occasionally, we will get away for a long hike or bushwalk or the occasional day adventure down the coast.”

Luckily, Nikki and Justin were both on the same page throughout the planning of their wedding. And it seems it’s always been that way. Nikki explains, “We met at work. For the first year or two, we would only really cross paths occasionally. One Friday, as is often the case, a few people from work went out for drinks to blow off steam. After some harmless flirting, we ended up sharing a kiss on the dance floor. We decided to go on our first official date the following weekend, and the rest is history! We’ve never looked back from there.”

Even the location for the proposal wasn’t too far from the sea for this couple. “We were in Tasmania on holiday,” says Justin. “A friend had told me about the breath-taking view at the top of Mount Amos and how peaceful and isolated it was. What he failed to mention was just how difficult of a climb it is. You are literally forced to climb on all fours during some stages. Mid-way up, both of us sweating profusely, Nikki turned to me and said, “You’d better bloody marry me after this, Payne”.

At the top, the view was as beautiful as promised, but there was a horde of British hikers sunbathing with their shirts off. Not exactly romantic for the couple. Luckily, Justin was able to stall their descent until the tourists had left, and like a ball of nerves, he pulled out the ring and popped the question. Needless to say, Nikki enjoyed the trek down a lot better!

The wedding was everything the couple could have hoped for. They are now looking forward to raising a family together and growing as both a partnership while also helping each other grow individually. “We are completely different people from five years ago when we started dating, in a very positive way,” says Nikki. “We positively influence each other, and I know we will keep pushing each other to be the best version of ourselves.”

Sun-kissed and bathed in beauty, this couple found the perfect setting for the perfect day.
