How long have you been doing weddings?

This is my 5th year of being a Marriage Celebrant

How long do brides normally book in advance?

I usually start getting bookings about a year out from there wedding date

How can couples make their ceremony personal?

The best way is to find the right celebrant for you. It is such a personal choice and you have to be able to share some personal details of your life with a total stranger pretty much immediately, so you have to be comfortable. From that point, it flows pretty natural because this is your love story and no 2 are the same and this creates your personal touch on the ceremony.

How would you describe your style?

I have a very different style to most celebrants that I know, as I am different from most celebrants I know. I love making couples and guest relax, so there is laughter in my ceremonies which I pride myself on being able to deliver. Love, Legals and Laughter is the Mantra for weddings

If you could share one piece of advice what would it be?

One piece of advice for future brides and grooms is always have a wet weather option, I cannot stress this enough, you just never know and it is nice to be prepared, like a boy scout always be prepared.

What was one of the craziest weddings you have had?

WOW I am so fortunate to do what I do for a living I love it. I have performed about 450 weddings in 5 years there are so many , I have dressed up as a Monk, Elvis, Harry Potter I have been in a position to travel all around Australia, Bali, Fiji , Philipines to perform ceremonies, I am not gonna lie over that time I have seen some crazy ones.

Who do you think your style is suited for?

My personal style is for relaxed Couples that are looking for a smile on there wedding day more laughter than tears and a ceremony that their friends will remember, I guarantee your guest will think I have known you both for years.

Tell us more about you?

I have been on stage my whole life from comedy to M.C, singer, dancer. I have performed the first same-sex female couple ceremony in Australia and was lucky enough to win Brides Choice Celebrant of the year 2 years running. I have been on Channel 7 Sunrise for being the funny celebrant which was super fun, All this stuff was great , but nothing beats the moment when 2 couples commit to each other and I have the best seat in the house.
